Director-choreographer Remo D’Souza, who was admitted to the hospital a week ago due to a heart attack, was discharged on Friday. Remo underwent angioplasty last Friday, with his blockages removed. Now he is back home. Remo’s wife Liezel has confirmed this news.

Remo was placed in the emergency ward on 11 December after a heart attack. After about an hour of operation, he was shifted to the ICU ward. Amitabh Bachchan also wished Remo to recover soon. Big B wrote on social media- You get well soon, my prayers are with you.

Remo is survived by his wife Liesel and two sons Dhruv and Gabrielle. Remo is one of the top choreographers of Bollywood.
