New Delhi: Shilpa Shetty is one of the fittest actors in Bollywood and this has been the case for decades now. Her secret? Keeping it “simple but significant” the actress revealed in her new Instagram video. Coupling life lessons with some Monday morning motivation, Shilpa Shetty posted a clip in which she is pulled off quite a complex workout routine. Dressed in gym wear and looking focussed as ever, Shilpa Shetty looks at ease as she squats with a weightlifting barbell in hand. Along with the video, the star wrote, “Keep it simple, but significant… be it your life decisions or your workout routine.”

For all the fitness enthusiasts on social media, Shilpa Shetty even shared some details about the exercise. She added in her note, “What may merely look simple to another person, can be a significantly effective workout routine. The Dead-Curl sure is one! It works very well on the lower body and arms. It can also be used as a HIIT Drill for Cardio. Trust me, it’ll work its magic. All you have to do is perform 4 rounds of 1 min each with rest of only 30 seconds in between; and you will know what I mean.”

Nudging her fans to give it a try, Shilpa Shetty said, “Give this high octane exercise a try to start your week fused with energy… raring to go!”

The actress, who believes in the power of clean eating and exercising, often posts videos about her workout routine. Earlier this month, the actress spread positivity on Instagram with an encouraging caption and a yoga clip. Shilpa Shetty wrote, “It’s the first day of the second last month of the year! When I realised this, I decided to start the day, week, and month with yoga. The flow I chose comprises of Viparita Shalabasana, Ardha Shalabasana, Dhanurasana, and Balasana.” 

In addition to listing the benefits of yoga in the caption, Shilpa Shetty wrote, “The body feels completely rejuvenated and ready to take on the day ahead,” adding cheekily, “Must try this one out and recommend it to friends who want “buns of steel.” Happy November!”
