In appreciation of his life, the makers of Manomé Motion Pictures Ramon Chib and Anku Pandey have acquired the rights to portray his incredible story on celluloid. ‘Bull’ – The film, based on the late Colonel Narinder ‘Bull Kumar’, is an untold story of true leadership, courage and pride.

This is the story of the fight against the harsh enemy of all – nature, against which the great luminaries often lay down their arms. A story of a strong-willed, determined military officer who refused to give up – “do what you want to do” was Bull Kumar’s motto.

In 1981, this soldier and his team claimed to reach the highest peaks at over 24,000 feet and hoisted the Indian tricolor there. They did this without any maps or high-tech equipment – their shoes were not waterproof, and their jackets were also not solid. They practiced navigating difficult crevices and staying ahead of avalanches, while temperatures that remained as low as -50 degrees Celsius. The “reconnaissance” mission was not an official military operation. This meant that if Bull Kumar and his fellow soldiers fell into the hands of the enemy, no one would claim them.

Producer Ramon Chibb

Written by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Bull is operated by Ramon Chib, an ex-army officer who understands the ethos of the Indian Army. He is from the same regiment of Bul Kumar and has spent many hours with the colonel to find out what he did to accomplish this impossible mission.

Ramone has previously directed the Bal Sena show for National Geographic Channel and is the creative consultant for all things military related to Aamir Khan‘s latest production ‘Lal Singh Chadha‘. He has also written the story and screenplay of the recently announced Siddharth Anand action film for ‘Fighterstarring Hrithik and Deepika. He and Anku are also producers on this along with Siddharth Anand.

Filmmaker Ramon Chib said, ‘We have moved forward as a team to bring this very amazing story of valor and true leadership to the screen soon. We are thankful to the family of the late Colonel Narinder ‘Bull’ Kumar that he believed in us and allowed us to rewrite his deeply inspiring story for celluloid and to forever commemorate his life in a film reel To share their opportunity and responsibility. We are currently interested in many studios and are ready to start this project to narrate to the world the heroic saga of a brave, courageous and true patriot.
