Amanda Bynes Younger Years: Photos Of The Actress Since Her Start On ‘All That’

Amanda Bynes is a popular actress who rose to fame as a child star on Nickelodeon. She starred as a regular on seasons three through six of ‘All That’ before getting her own spinoff, ‘The Amanda Show,’ which aired from 1999-2002. At that point, she began to star in highly-publicized movies, like ‘Big Fat Liar,’ alongside Frankie Muniz. From 2002-2006, she was on ‘What I Like About You’ with Jennie Garth, and she had her breakthrough film role in ‘She’s The Man.’ She’s also starred in movies like ‘Hairspray,’ ‘Sydney White,’ and ‘Easy A.’

In 2010, she announced her plans to take a hiatus from acting. After that, she went through some troubling times, including two arrests and being put on an involuntary psychiatric hold. She spent time in treatment for her mental health, and has been open about her struggles with substance abuse. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Dec. 2018, with plans to return to acting. In Mar. 2022, the star was released from her nearly decade-long conservatorship arrangement. In March 2023, according to a report by TMZ, Amanda was placed on a 5150 hold after being taken to a police station after a psychiatric episode. Amanda was reportedly waving down a car while wearing no clothes on March 19. Once taken to the police station, Amanda was placed on the 5150 hold which usually lasts 72 hours but can be more based on the patient’s wellness.
