The couple’s two-year relationship ended in March of 2018, when they each posted breakup announcements to social media. Zayn tweeted, “Gigi and I had an incredible, meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time.”
The pair got back together but broke up once again in Jan. 2019, only to reunite a year later in Jan. 2020. As the coronavirus outbreak and self-isolation orders hit the U.S. in March 2020, Zayn hunkered down with Gigi, her mom Yolanda and sister Bella at the family’s Pennsylvania farm.
They announced they were expecting in Apr. 2020, and the couple welcomed daughter Khai in Sep. 2020. Gigi and Zayn’s relationship disintegrated in Oct. 2021, after reports of a physical fight between Zayn and Yolanda. While tensions were high at the start of the split, they’ve since gone on to become pleasant co-parents.
