It has been almost a year since SS Rajamouli’s RRR hit the theatres, yet the buzz around it is just growing by the day. While the first few months after its release, the film was a national rage, once it hit the OTT platform, it became an international sensation. Many big names from the West and film industries from across the world came out to praise the film and the impact it has made, and now there is another name added to that list as Hollywood actress Jessica Chastain is the latest global fan who is in awe of the magnificent RRR.
Recently, Jessica Chastain took to Twitter to share a video of Ram Charan and Jr NTR from the song Naatu Naatu in RRR, and along with it she shared her experience of watching the film, calling it a ‘party’. She wrote, “Watching this film was such a party (sic),” with a pink heart emoji.

Acknowledging the actress’ praise and feeling overwhelmed with the love, the official handle of RRR on Twitter, responded to Jessica’s tweet with a sweet message that read, “Jessica, you enjoying RRR made us happy (sic),” followed by a heart emoji.

RRR has become a favourite at the ongoing international award season. Recently, SS Rajamouli was awarded as the Best Director at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards and his speech their had gone viral. On Saturday, it got shortlisted for a BAFTA nomination and it is also up for awards in two categories at the upcoming Golden Globes 2023, including Best Original Song for Naatu Naatu and Best Non-English Film. The song has also made it to the Oscars 2023 shortlist, and it is expected to be nominated as well when the final list is announced on January 24.
