RRR has created a buzz around it internationally that has never been seen before by any Indian film. The SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus has found an audience and fans in the biggest of names across the globe and it has gotten the Western fans scream and shout in theatres, just like Indians do to show their excitement for a film. Something similar happened at the recent US screening of RRR ahead of the Golden Globes.
Rajamouli held a special screening of RRR in the US on January 9, before the Golden Globes takes place on January 11, where it is nominated in two categories. The official Instagram page of the film posted a video from that screening that sees Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the song Naatu Naatu and you can hear a thunderous applause for it in the background while the audience got on their feet to groove to the song. Naatu Naatu and RRR has surely created an impact globally and this video is just a sign of that.

RRR becomes a favourite at international award season…
Rajamouli’s magnum opus has surely become a rage globally ever since it hit the OTT screen and became accessible to everyone across the world. And the effect of it is reflecting in the ongoing award season. While RRR is up for two awards at the Golden Globes, Rajamouli recently won the Best Director award at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards. It is also nominated at the Critics Choice Awards and Hollywood Critics Association Awards. Naatu Naatu from RRR has also made it to the shortlist of Oscars 2023, and the song is expected to make the final cut as well when the final nominations are announced on January 24.
