Sandalwood star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away in October this year. He died due to heart attack. His demise has created a huge loss for the Kannada film industry. For the unversed, in 2017, the Kannada superstar shared the screen with Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna in the film, Anjani Putra. The action entertainer has completed 5 years today (December 21). The Goodbye actress took to micro-blogging site, Twitter handle to pen a heartfelt note for the Power Star.
Rashmika wrote, “It’s #5YearsForAnjaniPutra already I keep thinking about the conversations with @PuneethRajkumar…sir and he was more confident in me than myself always. He has the best heart and forever will be irreplaceable in my heart.” She added, “Thank You Harsha sir for this film, it means a lot to me.”

Anjani Putra was directed by A. Harsha, and was backed by by M. N. Kumar under the production house MNK Movies, in association with Jayashreedevi Productions. The film also starred Ramya Krishna, Mukesh Tiwari, P. Ravi Shankar, and Chikkanna among others in pivotal roles.
On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna has Hindi films, Mission Majnu and Animal in her kitty. Also, she has Varisu with Thalapathy Vijay and Pushpa sequel, Pushpa: The Rise with Allu Arjun.
