Telugu actor Krishnudu, of Vinayakudu fame, was arrested for gambling by Hyderabad police in Miyapur on Friday night 4th September. Krishnudu was caught playing Poker with his friends at a villa near Miyapur and he was caught red-handed by the cops. The actor and seven others, including organizer Paddi Raju, were arrested by cop for gambling.
Krishnudu is known for his comedy roles. His grandfather was Alluri Varha Venkata Suryanarayana Raju, Zamindar of Chinchinada. In 1970’s, as a result of the Land Ceiling act introduced by the then Prime Minister of India – Indira Gandhi, his family had lost their land. The actor is popular for his roles in films like Oye!, Happy Days, Mr Perfect and more. He was last seen in the film Hulchul in a supporting role, which was released in 2019.
The reports are coming that Miyapur police arrested eight members at midnight and registered a case against them under the Public Gaming Act.
Miyapur police revealed that Telugu actor Krishnudu had attended a function along with a group of friends on Friday night and started gambling. They received a call from one of the people who were there at function, who informed us that the illegal gambling activity was taking place. The police also seized Rs 2 lakh cash and eight mobile phones.
