The battle in the Bigg Boss 16 house to emerge victorious has heated up. With the finale just a few weeks away, the fight to stay ahead is getting intense. But amidst that, the contestants are getting a bit of a relief as this is family week. Each contestant is getting to meet a family member and for Shalin Bhanot, it is his mother Sunita Bhanot who is coming to meet him. Before entering the house, she got in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble where she gave her opinion on the equation between Shalin Bhanot and ex-wife Dalljiet Kaur.
Shalin Bhanot’s mother on mention of Dalljiet Kaur on Bigg Boss 16
Shalin Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur had been married for six years before they got divorced in 2015. They even have a son named Jayden together. Throughout this season, Shalin has been attacked many times with Dalljiet’s name. When his mother was asked if it ever affected her emotionally, considering Dalljiet was once family to her, she said, “Emotionally, I feel that one should not talk about anyone’s family. It’s not done and when it comes to Shalin and Daljiet, it’s long back, it’s gone, it’s past like what. So, there is nothing to talk about and only they can understand what has happened. Two good people cannot sometime get along, it is that simple. But we don’t understand, only two of them can understand. And it’s totally gone.”
Shalin Bhanot being a protective family man
The actor’s mother also spoke about how proud she has been with the way Shalin has always stood up to protect his family. She shared that when Archana Gautam raised the whole Dalljiet issue that riled up Shalin, he did take a stand to not bring his ex-wife into the conversation. She said, “Shalin was really angry that day. He was telling Bigg Boss call me. He told everyone that I can take anything and everything, but people who matter to me, he still feels. He said generally, we should not talk about anybody’s mother, father or family members.”
