Actor Vivek Dahiya got married to his Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star Divyanka Tripathi in 2016. Since then, the couple has received immense love and blessings from their fans and the audience. However, initially, Vivek had to undergo immense scrutiny after the news of his engagement with Tripathi made headlines.

We sat down with Dahiya for a candid chat recently. In an exclusive interview with us, Vivek Dahiya recalled the scrutiny he underwent when news of his relationship with Divyanka Tripathi made headlines. He hinted at how the mention of her ex-boyfriend annoyed him.
When asked if it was difficult to deal with the scrutiny around the relationship with Divyanka, Vivek Dahiya told Bollywood Bubble, “Yeah. It was. It was annoying about all that people had to say. Like I said, I had not been in the limelight. I had not been an experienced actor.”
He added, “I was used to all these news, speculations, rumours and all of that. So, it did take me, I was taken aback. It was very disheartening at that time. But, we came out of it stronger.”
The actor continued, “Thankfully, Divyanka, because she had the experience so she kind of mentored us. Because it is important that you keep your sanity. Because these things are not to be taken seriously. Because, what will stay with us is the family. Rest everything will come and go.”
