Actor Rakhi Sawant took everyone by surprise when she secretly got married to her boyfriend Adil Khan Durrani. The two have been dating for a couple of years before taking the plunge. Before Sawant shared her wedding pictures, they only found their way to the internet which was going viral, shocking everyone. It is reported that Rakhi Sawant changed her name to Fatima after her marriage to her boyfriend.
While some reports suggest that she has accepted Islam as her religion as a video of her going viral where she is seen performing Islam rituals, other reports say that she has just added ‘Fatima’ in her name. Nevertheless, only recently, the Main Hoon Na actor also shared pictures from her wedding, where she is seen signing the marriage certificate. Sharing the post with her fans, Rakhi captioned, “Finally, I’m happy so excited and got married my love is 4 Ever unconditional love for you Adil.”
Rakhi Sawant has also shared another video with her husband Adil post her marriage on her gram. In the video, both are decked up in Cocktail dresses as they walk hand-in-hand. Sharing the video, Sawant captioned, “I am happy with my marriage. I love my Adil as my husband”
Meanwhile, earlier, in their chat with Bollywood Bubble, the couple revealed their marriage plans. Speaking about her beau, Rakhi said, “Adil has given me love, respect and much more, something that no one has given me to date. He taught me the true meaning of love. My life was not a happy one, I had everything fame, money but love was missing in my life. But Adil has given me all.”
Adil added, “I always support Rakhi whatever she wants to do I support her. Like all we do have our differences but by the end of the day we do make sure to talk to each other. Of course we will marry but we have not fixed the date as yet.”
Rakhi too confirmed, “Yes it is not fixed as yet. It is up to him whenever he says. I don’t want to pressurise him.”
Rakhi Sawant and Adil Khan Durrani got married on 29th May 2022.
