The constant chaos and commotion in Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Preeta’s (Shraddha Arya) lives has undoubtedly kept the audience at the edge of their seats over the past few months. However, the recent two-year leap indeed turned the tale on its head with Karan and Preeta separating. Since then, viewers have watched how Prithvi (Sanjay Gagnani) has taken control of the Luthra Mansion, and Preeta has returned to save the family.
Known for gripping plot twists, the latest track of Kundali Bhagya will see some high voltage drama during Mahesh Luthra’s (essayed by Naveen Saini) birthday party celebrations. While shooting this sequence, everyone was eager to have a good time, and they had a reason to be this excited as they got a chance to dress up in their Bollywood retro outfits. What’s more, Shraddha Arya got an opportunity to experiment with her look. She recreated Deepika Padukone’s look as Shantipriya from the movie ‘Om Shanti Om’ for the retro party theme. Ever since pictures of Shraddha’s new look surfaced on social media, everyone has been raving about it. Getting into this new yet retro look, she also spoke about how she loved the character of Shantipriya and is all hearts about Deepika Padukone aka DeePee’s performance.
Talking about the sequence in the show, Shraddha Arya says,
“We are shooting a sequence where we are celebrating Mahesh Papa’s birthday and the theme of the party is retro. All family members dressed to impress, and the shoot left us wanting for more. Preeta is recreating the look of Shantipriya from the movie Om Shanti Om.”
Talking about her retro look in the show as Shantipriya, she adds,
“I have tried multiple looks with a countless number of costumes, and I have shown my versatility on many occasions in the past for our viewers. Shantipriya’s character is one of my favourite characters which Deepika Padukone essayed. I am always excited for new challenges, and this fresh avatar was a comfortable change. The look in the 70s and 80s was interesting and charming. The retro look is royal, and it excites me, always. The viewers will get to see me in this look in a few ahead episodes, and I am sure it will be exciting for the viewers as well.”
Well, she’s everyone’s favourite, isn’t she?
