It has been 13 years since the horrific 26/11 attack in Mumbai took place. Today is a sad day for not only Mumbai but the entire country, as our minds and hearts go back to the attack and the innocent lives we lost in the course of the same.
On November 26, 2008, ten Pakistani terrorists sneaked into Mumbai through the sea route, and unleashed a havoc in various parts of the city. They killed over 160 people. Over the course of their attack, nine terrorists were killed while one, Mohammed Ajmal Kasab.
The terrorists carried on attacks at city hubs such as CST Railway Station, Taj Mahal Palace hotel, Cafe Leopold, Cama and Albless Hospital, Nariman House, and Oberoi- Trident Hotel.
Over a decade has passed, but the incident continues to send chills to the citizens of the country. Actress Rupali Ganguly remembered all those who lost their lives during the unfortunate attack on the city.
She shared her thoughts and wrote: “It’s been 13 years since the barbaric Mumbai terror attacks! Time has flown by but my heart still can’t forget the visual carnage that 26/11 was. On this unfortunate day, we remember all those we lost, with courage, love and fondness! #MumbaiTerrorAttack.”
