Popular television actress Tunisha Sharma who acted in the show ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’ committed suicide. The 21-year-old was found hanging in the washroom on the sets of the show. Her boyfriend Sheezan Khan was arrested on the charge of abetment to suicide. Mr Khan’s mother and sisters addressed a press conference claiming his innocence. They also revealed that the actress was never made to wear a hijab.
Tunisha Sharma’s mother allegation against Sheezan Khan
Tunisha’s mother alleged that Sheezan Khan and his family had tried to convert her daughter. She was made to wear Hijab by them. She also added that the actor was in a relationship with some other woman and when Tunisha confronted him he slapped her. Responding to the allegations, Sheezan’s mother said that Mrs Sharma should provide evidence for the allegation against him.
Sheezan Khan’s sister Falaq Naaz on the allegation
Mr Khan’s sister Falaq Naaz spoke on the allegations that Ms Sharma was forced to wear a hijab and visit a dargah, she said, “We never asked her to do anything.” Referring to a picture of Ms Sharma wearing a hijab that has now gone viral, Mr Khan’s other sister claimed that the actor wore the headscarf for a shoot. “We just want to say Tunisha was like our family member, and we were taking care of her”.

Sheezan’s family alleged that Tunisha Sharma had a strained relationship with her mother, and found solace in Sheezan’s family. They even shared a Tunisha’s voice clip from September 3 where she is talking to Sheezan’s mother. In the clip Tunish is heard saying, “Aap mere liye bohot mayne rakhti ho Amma, bohot zyada. Aap jante bhi nahi ho…isiliye aapse har baat share karne ka mann karta hai…iss liye mere zehan mein jo bghi hoga, aapko bataungi. Par pata nahi….mujhe khud nahi pata, mujhe kya horaha hai.”

Sheezan’s family further added that they did not want to speak ill of Tunisha’s mother or family but will leave no stone unturned to protect their brother.
