Chicago Fire Season 10’s tenth episode was entitled “Back With A Bang” and featured Severide visiting Stella at his home. Severide was shocked when Stella abandoned him at the fire station without giving any reason. Stella attempts to convince Severide that there is no one else in her life than him. Meanwhile, Stella entered Firehouse 51. She also apologized to Cheif Boden that she had left Lieutenant’s position, which ultimately went to Pelham.

Station 51 was then contacted by a call regarding a large fire in the tunnel. There were many people trapped within the fire. The team managed to rescue everyone from the flames and brought them all back to safety. There were also a lot of potassium containers that were hidden in the tunnel. It would have been a huge explosion if those containers caught fire. Boden advised Herrmann to keep the containers cool. He also had to be careful not to get the chemical into his eyes as it could cause an explosion.

Ritter, on the other hand saved Dillon, a rookie officer. Ritter was shocked that he could not save the truck driver from a fire. The team managed to get fire extinguishers on time and were able control the fire before it reached the potassium containers. Ritter later told Mouch that Dillion was doing well. Dillion sent them a troubling letter. Ritter visited Dillion’s apartment to tell him all about the first time he almost quit his job.
